by over 100 acres of timber and rolling hills, the four-bedroom log
home located near Lancaster, Kentucky, provides a peaceful setting
for our guests to experience rest and renewal.
The five-day sabbatical, beginning Sunday evening and continuing
through Friday morning, is offered free of charge to our guests.
AQP can provide up
to four couples or singles each week a place of refuge and rejuvenation—a
place where they can relax and be still as they draw close to God.
AQP began as a vision for Rick and Teresa Jenkins in 1998
when they moved to a remote log home in Garrard County, Kentucky. Three
years later, God provided the opportunity for them to buy adjacent land
that included a four-bedroom log home that was to become AQP.
a series of events orchestrated by God, the vision to provide a retreat
for those in full time Christian service became clear. It was to become
a safe place where Christian leaders could come and lay down the pressures
of ministry, to relax and rejuvenate, and to reconnect with God and with
their spouses on a deeper, more intimate level.
AQP Board consists of three couples who share the vision of ministry
renewal and the passion to love God and His people more each day.
