After guests have completed the Application for Sabbatical and have signed the Statement of Faith, they will receive a guest information packet about their stay.
AQP can accommodate up to four couples or singles for each stay.
During the week, guests will enjoy a leisurely-paced self-directed program that blends self-study, group discussion, relaxation, and solitude to nurture and strengthen each individual and his/her relationship with Jesus Christ.
Schedule
Guests will be greeted at AQP on Sunday evening to begin their five-day complimentary sabbatical that concludes on Friday morning.
The flexible five-day self-directed program includes prayer, Bible and other spiritual reading, fellowship, and marriage-building activities.
Participants will have large blocks of unstructured time and freedom from daily responsibilities, as well as a daily opportunity to fellowship with other guests during the scheduled evening meal.
AQP’s goal is that guests will complete the sabbatical feeling refreshed and closely connected with God—ready to continue serving Him with a renewed and balanced lifestyle.

Guests’ participation in the self-study program (averaging 4-6 hours daily) will satisfy IRS continuing education requirements and will allow guests to attend free of charge without tax penalty.
Married couples are strongly encouraged to share this sabbatical. We are unable to accommodate children.
Important: Because we strive to provide an atmosphere conducive for all our guests to rest, relax, and refocus, we discourage non-emergency use of pagers, cell phones, and computers.
Smoking, alcohol, hunting, pets, and solicitation are not allowed at AQP.

As part of our reservation process, we also ask applicants to read and sign our Statement of Faith as a means to promote compatibility among all of our guests.
